I'm fed up with my job! - Are You BOILING Where You Work? Unbelievable Truths Exposed!

You should really say something to yourself: Are you happy with your current job? Funny enough, most people would immediately think, without question: “Of course I don’t like my job!” - Today everyone is used to getting up, going to work, and going to bed - over and over again! And it can lead to serious problems. Does this sound familiar to you: Get up, go to work, go to bed. Get up, go to work, go to bed. Get up, go to work, go to bed. If it does to you, then you may consider changing jobs!

From LiveScience magazine, an ariticle stated Americans now hate their jobs more than ever before VS. the past 20 years, with less than half saying they’re happy! Are you under the age of 25? If so, there is more than a 61% chance that you currently do not enjoy your job, either!

The Conference Board, a market info company, puts out the Consumer Confidence Index and the Leading Economic Indicators. Not too long ago a study by the CB revealed workers from ages 45 to 54 had the second lowest level of happiness, which was at less than 45%. The older group of people that were over 55 years old enjoyed their jobs more.

So what is my point? These dissatisfied, disgruntled people have no further career goals? Is dreading the workday is a common problem in millions of homes? After all, this job-hating ordeal DOES lead to lower productivity in the workplace. It also negatively affects our economy & causes many personal relationships to deteriorate! Maybe we all just need a vacation every now and then. What can we do about it? Well, first sit back and look at the forest instead of staring at a single one. Seriously - think about yourself and your current job - also: WHY you chose that position. Was it because it paid well or because the hours were flexible? Maybe it was just because of the cute girl at the gifting desk or the hunky guy working in the lounge during your days on.

You then really need to do your best to understand just what it is that’s keeping you at the job - even though you do not enjoy it. Is it just because it’s a steady paycheck and you’ve simply gotten in the habit of relying on that continuous (despite the fact it may be inadequate) amount of income? As a matter of fact, as I’m typing this right now I’m listening to my father talking down the hall in the kitchen. He’s telling his significant other, Pammy, that all he hears at the end of each workday is how much she hates her job. What’s been keeping Pammy there is the fact that she works with my father and she enjoys his company during the day while at the office. But, the pay is absolutely lousy. “Overworked and underpaid” - sound familiar?
So what’s the next step once you identify just what the reason is that’s keeping you at your current job? Well, it’s a simple question to ask yourself. Hah!

“If you only had 10 months to live and I could have ANY job in the world, what would it be?”
Think about it for a minute. Go ahead...I’ll wait... ;-)
